FYI Scott, there is no such thing as this right wing/left wing nonsense, there's only right or wrong, and repeating slander sure isn't right.
But I did listen to the entire song and it's pretty well done. Good guitar work, decent vocals & harmonies, the monologue got lost in the mix a bit but you put some work into this and it shows. Nice effort but being on the wrong side of the topic it's about does it no justice.

A significant number of American women who have had an abortion have felt subtle, or even substantial, unwanted pressure to abort, a recent study has found.
The study, published recently in the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons, found that nearly three-quarters (73.8%) of women with a history of abortion surveyed admitted that they experienced at least subtle forms of pressure to terminate their pregnancies.
More than half of the women reported that the perceived pressure was great enough to significantly influence their decision to abort. Of the 987 women surveyed, more than half (58.3%) indicated that they decided to abort in order to make others happy. Nearly 30% of survey respondents admitted that they were afraid that they would lose their partner if they failed to terminate their pregnancy.
Further underlining the fact that choosing abortion is contrary women’s natural instincts, the study also found that two-thirds of the women (66%) knew in their hearts that abortion was wrong. Many women (67.5%) said that the decision to terminate their pregnancies was one of the hardest decisions of their lives.
“These findings are alarming,” says Population Research Institute President Steven Mosher. “They suggest that a substantial number of women in America today who supposedly ‘choose’ abortion are actually being pressured into it by their husbands, boyfriends, or family members.”
“If a man tells a woman in so many words that he will leave her if she does not get an abortion, that woman is being denied the right to freely choose her—and her unborn child’s fate. The threat of abandonment is a very strong inducement to the woman not to carry her child to term.”

There was NOT a THING "wrong" with ANY of the "Points" you made, Sterling! All of them are valid. Many women go into depression after having an abortion, some of them NEVER recover from it. So long as a woman "KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT SHE IS DOING" she "SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO HAVE 100 ABORTIONS" should she so choose. I just don't like the way experts try to convince women that these infants are merely "tissue". THEY "ARE" IN FACT TISSUE!!! BUT NOT "MERELY/ONLY"!!! You and I are "tissue". I am seeing and typing through my "tissue" self. "Tissue" IS NOT THE "ISSUE"!!! The women should be informed of the procedure and watch a video of what will be done to that "tissue". I guarantee you that many(if not most) of the women watching that would soon be begging for a "tissue" of a different kind! Hell, people who eat meat "for a living" should be forced to watch "slaughter house" movies too. If it makes one feel guilty 'DO NOT" participate! ...unless you can say a nice blessing for the poor creatures. -M-

No woman should feel pressured to have an abortion much in the same way they should not be pressured to have an unwanted baby. It is their bodies and they should have a right to decide and not some stuffy ultra religious politician who also wants to restrict their access to birth control. If someone was on the fence about this and they came to me for counsel I would advise them to do what their heart is telling them to do. My perspective may be unique for a minister because I have ministered to many a child whose family abandoned them for whatever reason they had. I have watched many of these children struggle to understand why they are here.
Unfortunately, many of the anti-abortion people are the same people that vote down any assistance to help these unwanted children survive. They refuse to allow any tax dollars to help young mothers who decide to keep the baby to feed it, raise it and educate it. No, that is too close to socialism for them. So, instead they try to restrict the right to abort and when the child is born they believe it should be on its own. They just want it to be born but could care less about how it lives and survives, That is somebody else's problem. Currently, the United States has more children incarcerated than any other country in the world. The vast majority of them are poverty stricken children that have been thrown into a system that has no redemption or rehabilitative values. So, these unwanted children come into the world and learn to be criminals because crime pays (albeit temporarily) in America. Unwanted children never receive any empathy and therefore they become non empathetic to anyone or anything. This makes them liable to do anything to anyone for any reason. Non empathetic people are the most dangerous of all. I have seen my share of them in places like San Quentin, Pelican Bay and Soledad. I started ministering to some of them when they were little children that got into trouble. Then, I watched them grow and become bigger criminals until one day I saw them on death row.
Now, I would prefer that all mothers keep their babies. However, I certainly understand that in some cases that is not suitable or even a favorable outcome. But nobody should be pressured to go in any direction. That should be a personal decision that the mother must make. Women are people and they should have rights about what happens with their bodies and their lives.

I can remember a time when abortion was only legal in a few states, it was a real hassle to get one legally. So it seemed young women weren't so free with their affections and as a result they were as a whole much better off. In cases of rape or incest an argument can be made but it's like the capitol punishment argument, once that is allowed what comes next?
But as far as no help being available to single mothers, nothing is further from the truth. The benefits can be so generous that for many this is a career choice.
