This is a brilliant composition, with typically MonaLisa Twins-ian lovely two-part harmony vocals, and a great Latin-flavored guitar riff (and I love Latin music). It is entirely original, so fresh and new, and yet it sounds like it could have been written by Roy Orbison in the early '60s.
upbeat and fresh, very groovy, ace harmonies, spanish-y guitar lead, the mona lisa twins rock, a calendar beauty...
Very tuneful with wisps of Spanish flavour...quite melodically delightful....
Groovy and 60's Style
In the video of this lovely MLT original, the pretty and feminine Mona with her blonde locks, depicts the sunny month of June. Her parasol in her hand is no longer needed for the rains of May which took her baby away. The pleadings of her heart are "Oh June, would you come along and bring my baby home?" Not only will you fall in love with Mona and Lisa and their angelic voices and musicianship, but you'll also fall in love with June!
New and Noteworthy
velvet-y harmonies, tasty spanish-y guitar, fun calendar luv, an alchemy a la the beatles, their own unique voice, o-wooh, yeah yeah yeah...
A beautiful song with a Spanish Guitar influence tying the months of the calendar to the feelings of a Love.
The MonaLisa Twins.. about as smoooooth as it gets.
Cincy Cat's Top 40
I love the influence of Beatles songs in music I hear today. June reminds me of I'll Follow the Sun.
There's Gold In Them Thar Hills
such lush harmonies, pleasin' melody, like a clear, cool drink...
