R&b Funk Song about keeping life in the funk zone.

Stoneman wrote, produced and performed everything on this recording.

The story about this song goes way back to the days of funk when i played every single dance club in Los Angeles. It is not about a genre. It is about a lifestyle. Just Keep It Funky Baby! last year I had a terrible accident and wound up having brain surgery. They did a craiotomy on my brain. The doctor explained that he would have to go into my brain and ciut out all of the bad shit that wass there so my brain and body could again function normal. They gave me a 50/50 chance of survival and only 30 percent chance of being normal mentally again. So, while recuperating from surgery the ideas for this song came.
Just keep it funky, keep I funky
Just keep it funk, it’s a craniotomy yeah

I came to a crossroads in my quest for creativity and realized that I had lost my way to loves reality.
So I set myself down to perform some mental surgery cause I knew it was the only way to funks integrity.
Through the pain I heard the beats of primal urges calling me and with hope I knew I soon would have discerned with harmony.
Then I proved that I could give that funky stuff inside me. After giving myself a funk related craniotomy yeah well, well, well, well, well just keep it funky.

Just keep it funky, keep I funky
Just keep it funk, it’s a craniotomy yeah

I took all the bleeding spots of chords of ancient conformity. Removed the hemotoma of the whack and mediocrity. The I put myself back in the rhelm of creativity. And blasted off into the real and now aI try to keep it so funky.
When I fail the need to give you something new and exciting. I just call up on my past when all I did was stay funky. Sly and Clinton laid the foundations for the funkology. And brother James Brown said we must at all times stay funky yeah well, well, well, well well, well, well, well yeah. Keep it funky yeah, yeah
