Coming to your little town
on the outskirts of your freedom
when the tumbleweeds begin to roll
with an urgency that might possibly scare you
There is someone who means you no harm
Yeah you are safe to let yourself go now
For this lone moment, for no real reason
hold on and sail me like a wild wind blowin'

No I'm not waiting to find the things that you might call treasure
The things that money can't buy are the things
I'd gladly put up the house and farm for
You know what I'm looking for
so let's not waste another long minute
and when we're swirling around in the desert
feel free to take me like a wild wind blowin'

Wild wind (Let me take you away)
Wild wind (cause I want you today)
and I'm not afraid to lose what isn't mine (wild wind blowin')
You must know, to you I couldn't be unkind

The irrepressible force meets the irresistible object
and both become dependent upon the rhythm of the other's heartbeat
When that syncopation happens
I'll be there to savor the moment
as long as you know my soul is open
for you to use me like a wild wind blowin'

Wild wind (Let me take you away)
Wild wind (cause I need you today)
and I'm not afraid to use what isn't mine (wild wind blowin')
When it comes to you I couldn't be unkind

Wild wind (Let me take you away)
Wild wind (cause I love you today)
and I'm not afraid to lose what isn't mine
When it comes to you I'll never be unkind x

The Quieter Side of Father Time
The more modern version is great but this one has a lot of soulfulness and a really atmospheric guitar solo.

Mystery Radio
Father Time brings a Neil Young vibe and style, but all his own,FT captures you with that raunchy rhythm guitar a bit dirty edgy and tastefully appointed guitar riffs here and there, now listen up, this guy possesses one of the most amazing gifts in putting together a story that is believable. His craft and skill in songwriting has been Developed over years and years of tears and beers and spinning his yarns and songs of putting pen to paper. Wild Wind Blowin is in my mind one of FT's all time best songs. He has a lot, but this one in my mind is him laying it all on the line. bearing his heart and soul, yes sir ,such strong lyrics, heartfelt singing, and damn good singing man, he nails this one,Love the whole production, presentation, and arrangement, this one is a gem. Perhaps he is one of the last of the true warriors in the old rock style from way back. Carry on you wayward son. BT
