this song is about a lot of things but i just know that its one of the hardest ones for me to play for people
walking to the car in the rain
I don’t have anyone else to blame
I’m falling off my feet again
Right down to the cement

i’ve sat out here all year
watched every flower disappear
I can’t quite make my mind up yet
I don’t know what’s worse
Than being full of regret

how do i mend this feeling
start over from the beginning
Ever single dream I’ve had
is the reason I can’t just look back

every day i see myself get a little smaller, smaller
watch the world around me grow taller, taller

It hurts to know that you’re gone
And I know that this is, this is right
But now I remember what was right
And I hold it all hold onto it tight

I shouldn’t speak on it
But it sometimes feels so real
do you ever feel like axels are breaking from the wheels
i know how fast time it goes
but don’t you think by now
We should be getting out on the road

It hurts to know that you’re gone
And I know that this is, this is right
But now I remember what was right
And I hold it all hold onto it tight

my patience is wearing thin
i let my breath go in the wind
out of all the words you say
i just let them drift away

It hurts to know that you’re gone
And I know that this is, this is right
But now I remember what was right
And I hold it all hold onto it tight
