I would listen to her sing and everything she sung stayed in my mind
but I couldn't find... that sultry tone, so deep and rich, I didn't even have the pitch high or low no breath control, oh I was no contralto
Then in 1983 Karen left me so tragically, she died
but I have her great legacy, the singer I'd be would hold all her songs inside
