I compose this back when George W. Bush was in office, about 2008 or 2009. I fell asleep with the news on the TV. When I woke up, I had a complete song in my head music, lyrics, everything. I never posted this song because I was not trying to make a political statement, but the lyrics where just my interpretation of what was happening at that time. Things have changed a lot since then, but the more they change the more they stay the same. This is my original first draft so please forgive the singing. I'm posting the music with the original lyrics. I hope to re-write the lyrics and post this song again with new lyrics that are more reflective of these times soon.
