I was watching a news show one evening and a person was making an argument about a particular topic. Most of her argument was based on cliches and opinions with lots of emotion. I started thinking "Geez, imagine if I was married to her and we had an argument about who should take out the garbage!" So somehow that thought became the lyrics to this song. Glad I am NOT married to that person.
