Love will Heal the Pain
I want to believe
that there will be peace
and I want to know
when will we learn
mistakes have been made
but there is time enough to heal
and I know the future’s
not easy to trace,
but love will heal the pain

I sit and wonder why this
beautiful life is tainted
by greed, cause others’ pain
is the burden of some to
deaf to hear and the holy
cross still effects holy wars
where can love be found
where can love be found
There will come a day when
peace is just in reach
and our children will
become precious gifts sent
to heal the world
and I know the future’s not
easy to trace, but love
will heal the pain
