Last night I dreamed I was a penguin
Frolicking in the polar sea.
I swam in light under the ice caps
Underneath me a submarine.
The fish I caught swam in zig zags.
Cold water made me feel so free.
The ocean is my heavenly sky.
These funny wings can fly the sea.
Down and down and down I go
to the magic ice-world below.
My holding breath it pounds my heart.
Lights and fishes swim and dart.
My dream breaks up above my bed.
I fall to the surface, air and friends.
The cold gray zeppelin below us
casts a shadow in the crystal sea.
A stormy day is arising
As I wake from the penguin dream.
