All words and music written by Auset ©2005

On the edge of the morning when the haze had faded
She couldn't keep from feeling that her body was through
Spent the night all alone trying to keep it together
Felt so familiar, but still unsure

In the light of the moon it was all around her
A little pocket of heaven in a faraway place
Then she suddenly woke from the voice of a stranger
It seemed to last forever when she walked through - in Waterloo

When she noticed the clock it was almost eleven
Asleep in stillness in the wake of a dream
Caught herself by surprise when she looked in the mirror
She knew she'd never be the same again

In the light of the moon it was all around her
A little pocket of heaven in a faraway place
Then she suddenly woke from the voice of a stranger
She knew it'd last forever when she walked through - in Waterloo

Will you have this dance with me?
Will you life the world with me?
Will you take a chance with me?
Will you be in Waterloo?

International IMP Artists

Rivergods Radio
Auset has become part of my internal sonic landscape..."a little pocket of heaven in a faraway place". I surrender.

IAC Songchain..
'Waterloo'...everything about this song belongs and i don't believe i've ever heard a steel guitar player as good as this one...kinda reminds me of David Lindley .. not sure of the spelling, but he's the steel guitar player on a lot of Jackson Browne's songs...and this singer is whispering her deepest secrets into the listeners ear... extremely personal touch of a song well done.......LARRY W JOHNSON

Birthday Party
Ooh - just what the party needed - some pedal steel and Auset's hypnotic singing...

Adult Alternative Asylum
A beautiful voice, a little pocket full of Heaven....

What the Folk!
Impressive. I have listened to a lot of Auset's music and her song crafting is astounding. she has it down to an art, check out that cool little hooking groove she does on acoustic here and there. genius....and the voice. melt you slay you and all that....what a singer and player....great steel..smooth as silk........
