LIVIDITY "Used, Abused And Left For Dead"
Morbid Records / Epitomite Productions
Well, last year finally we are encouraged by the third album of one of the most brutal and sick bands of the American underground - Illinois quartet LIVIDITY. I hasten to inform you that I believe it's the best team in band's history! It was sickly nice surprise for me: the band is now stronger than ever and probably would even fuck many famous "monsters" of extreme scene not only in America. Of course, the first easily visible thing is the speed (!) of the songs. To describe it simpler, I would compare: who heard first, especially early band's works, can simply try to play them into one and a half to two times faster and immediately understand what I'm talking about. And when it comes to professional language, it's about 210-230 times per minute! Of course, most of these changes caused by a new drummer Jordan Varela named Violator (played in LUST OF DECAY, DEBODIFIED and other bands). Sound became noticeably better and stronger which has been achieved through the use of electronic processing, but on the right path, so not to make it synthetic. I will say that "Used, Abused And Left For Dead" isn't boring and tasty album not only for diehard fans of Brutal Death. It's contains both crazy blast-beats, standard guitar riffs, and catching melodies, different arrangements, and even slow dark parts. And, of course, there were also traditional intros in the songs intervals including "Pussy Lover pt. 3"!!! Contact: l.kibler@insightbb.com

Sensational sickness with a duo of polarized vocals in screech and gutteral belches. This combined with a grind-core-like pummeling of lightning fast double-kicks and flame scorched guitar riffage. This supremely brutal track will certainly leave you feeling used, abused, and if you're not careful...left for dead!
