The History on the song: "Arms Of Love" was actually "The First" complete song that I had ever written. I had started playing guitar when I was 20 years old and was determined to write a song even though I didn't know how to play guitar that well back then. I prayed that the Lord would allow me to write a song that everybody would know what heart-felt but that also had a message to it. I prayed that it would be a song that people would love and love to listen to so that the message would continue to ring for years to follow it's release. I prayed for the person that hears the message within the song for the first time and then accepts the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior because of it. I prayed that the Lord would use me in a great and mighty way, through music and my life, to reach a world, a country, a state, or even just one person for Jesus.
If you listen closely to the song, you will here a progressive story that tells about "darkness", the evil in this world. It tells of "Light", the Love of Jesus that can deliver us from all evil (darkness), and an embrace from His "Arms Of Love" that comforts us through life, darkness and the wickedness of this place we call home.
There is much experience of life, emotion, compassion and love behind the words and the music of each song on this CD. I pray that we were able to capture just that while recording and that people will not just hear and feel it, but rather "experience" the passion within.
I would like to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for my salvation and for the gifts He has given me to share with others.
