There are alot of evils in the world, in this time of unrest we are all searching for our Utopia.

One way would be to look for the "earthly paradise"—a place like Shangri-La, hidden in the Tibetan mountains and described by James Hilton in his Utopian novel Lost Horizon (1933). Such paradise on earth must be somewhere if only man were able to find it.

Cliff Guest - writer/producer
Heidi jacobsen - Vocals

We started writing this song before 911. Violence has always existed yet we are powerless to take action. With the influx of media, everyday life becomes infused with horrible stories of violence, hatred and mass destruction. Also, huge corporations and giants are telling us how to dress, what to think and how to live our lives. we are individuals. This was my way of speaking out against violence and hate in our society and across the world. In my heart I wish to live in an idyllic world Utopia, a place of peace and love.
Utopia

frustration, damnation, mass uniformity
mass domains, mass phobias, mass democracy

we’re searchin’ for our Utopia
we’re searchin’ for our Utopia

rush hour, payday, sick leave, PTA
hysteria, mass murder, mass weaponery

we’re searchin’ for our Utopia
we’re searchin’ for our Utopia
we’re searchin’ for our Utopia

mass killings, mass violence, mass thinking, MTV
mass hatred, mass gunfire, mass pornography

we’re searchin’ for our Utopia
we’re searchin’ for our Utopia
we’re searchin’ for our Utopia
we’re searchin’ for our Utopia x

WARRIORS FOR CHANGE
Formed in 1999, Heidi & The El Cats take a mello, stripped-down approach to smooth blues and roots music that has one foot planted firmly in the Missippi Delta. We were honored to have Jason Ricci, harmonica virtuoso play on this CD.

SOUND COMMUNITY
lovely vocal, poetical, topical mix...
