This is not what you think
It is going to be
It won’t complete you
No one’s kiss can
Not what you had imagined
They are only human after all
Imperfections, flaws
Open naked
Panting on your neck
Their sweat invading your own
This is no cure

Curled on my side
These springs are an ache
Digging in my ribs
I’m here again
Not what I had imagined
He is only human after all
No ovation, applause
For what we just did
A common occurrence
Now I want my other lover
Not sure which one

A Revolving mattress
Of insecurity
All lack of sense
All lack of love
And when I’m in the trembling center
Of this tumultuous charade
I will pretend to forget
All lack in me

I was not what he thought
I was going to be
I did not complete him
No one’s cave can
Not what he had imagined
I am only human after all
So imperfect, flawed
I seem to be
A lost little nymph
Sunk down in his quilt
No siren here

I shouldn’t do this anymore
I make so many paramours
Guest bedroom visits
Only bring slight pallid pleasures
I swiped my metro card
And leapt inside
My own tomb
Shaved, oiled, perfumed
This weary body
A premeditated train trip
An excursion that ends with torture

He was not what I thought
He was going to be
He did not complete me
No one’s cock can
Not what I had imagined
He is only human after all
He is not my savior
No sanctuary
Can’t keep me from my mind
Now in calm oblivion
I hate myself, I hate myself, I hate myself

We were not what we thought
We were going to be
We did not complete we
No one’s con can
Not what we had imagined
We are only human after all
We are not a couple
We are nothing
I am kept by someone else
Not wearing my wedding ring
Can’t change the truth

A Revolving mattress
Of insecurity
All lack of sense
All lack of love
And when I am in the trembling center
Of this tumultuous charade
I will pretend to forget
All lack in me

Cup of Joe
Liza has an unusual voice on this one. kinda haunting speak sing in some parts....but really a cool groove. and very prose induced kinda almost like in a movie you are watching as you listen that is how it struck me, She strikes up some interesting imagery and just lets it all hang out with her sultry sexy thang here, what a piece of work and reels you into the tune so well, makes you think. this is real cool stuff. very provocative. man what a trip
