Whilst touring with my band we were staying in a place called St Christopher in France, on our way back to our chateau we came across a Romanian Gypsy Camp. The caravans were all painted bright colours the horses looked happy and healthy, the kids were all playing free, without no cares. The woman were all weaving baskets and the man were parading around in battered jeans and vests with tanned lean bodies.I joined them for a while and sat with them enjoying their freedom. When I arrived home from the tour I was due to find out about my birth parents as I am adopted and too my amazement I am a Romanian Gypsy which is why I felt so at home with them
