If I tell you how I feel
Will you turn and run away
If I try to hold it in now
Will you stay another day
If I try to take it further
Will you tell me what I know
That I’m just another victim
Of the crazy winds that blow

It’s the rustlin’ of the trees
In my fool head that you’re hearin’
I don’t know what’s coming next
Hope it won’t be what I’m fearin’
That you’ll soon be disappearin’

If I try to turn the tide
Will you move up closer still
If I had you every minute
Would I ever have my fill
If you ever stopped denyin’
Who’s to say what you might find
But you’d never let that happen
With those doors locked in your mind

It’s the rustlin’ of the trees
In my fool head that you’re hearin’
I don’t know what’s coming next
Hope it won’t be what I’m fearin’
That you’ll soon be disappearin’

Oh I know we’ve got a thing
But sometimes I play along
Seems we’ve gotta keep believin’
that it’s only just a song
Oh I wonder if I’m hopin’
For the day your eyes might see
thru that sleepy independence
and you wake up needing me

It’s the rustlin’ of the trees
In my fool head that you’re hearin’
I don’t know what’s coming next
Hope it won’t be what I’m fearin’
That you’ll soon be disappearin’

Naah, I know I just lucked out
At the right time and the place
I just landed in this swamp
And I will sink without a trace
I’m the one they would remember
But this time it will be me
Who’s the one that left to ponder
All the rustling of the trees

It’s the rustlin’ of the trees
In my fool head that you’re hearin’
I don’t know what’s coming next
Hope it won’t be what I’m fearin’
That you’ll soon be disappearin’ x

FT fell in love with Zeeza and this is the song that resulted. The end of the main guitar solo came about when FT's guitar flew off knocking his recorder and the table to the ground.

Catchy right off the bat, good energy and driving beat with that signature vocal timbre and tone of Father Time, the guy that holds it altogether at Indiemusicpeople. very enjoyable and superb musicianship really had some magic going on in this one, a new discovery for me, Love that evaporating ending, outstanding and impactful, love it to death, the production is top drawer, vocals outstanding and the master at weaving stories songs and situations, FT got the whole package on this one, now my all time FT FAVE TUNAGE! ! the eYe
