Changing direction
Where will we go when east wind blows
And westward waves wash us away
We’ve gone astray lost our way
Do you know which way to go?
I don’t need a rhyme I don’t need reason
A change in direction with the change of season
In Northern sky there’s a guiding light
And the Southern sea churns memories
We’ve gone astray lost our way
Do you know which way to go?
I don’t need a rhyme I don’t need reason
A change in direction with the change of season
Turn the key and truth is seen
Theses lies believed a fallacy
We’ve gone astray lost our way
Do you know which way to go?
I don’t need a rhyme I don’t need reason
A change in direction with the change of season
Don’t turn away come what may
Don’t wait a moment more open the door
We’ve gone astray lost our way
Do you know which way to go?
I don’t need a rhyme I don’t need reason
A change in direction with the change of the season
We should have known we reap what we’ve sown
What we give today comes back again
We’ve gone astray lost our way
Been down this road before but there’s so much more.

Changing Direction, well I have to say i love the way this song starts off,and its immediately in your face with a big crash and smash on the percussion. Effective and captures you right off, even startles you, one way to get one listening. Very cool progression and nice chordal shapes and sounds. Quite like the vocals and harmonies. The lyrics are well crafted and the storyline is very believable, you can tell this is a life experience by the emotion and energy that has been worked in. It be really cool to have a break for 15-20 seconds with some kind of an instrumental part, perhaps some synth with strings to give it some openess and atmosphere something like that would offer a refresh and time to take in all the lyrical content and then have a return to the main theme. i think it would add colour and character to a very well crafted tune. I enjoyed the listen and sure this will get some adds to stations and many comments.
