Song Comments

Mushroom Magpie on Toast
This song is trippy from the intro. Love these ladies, they are indie goddesses and they mean it.

JIVINGJUKEBOXJUNCTION
Although a different spin on the usually more upbeat stuff we're used to hearing from them...this delivers a nice departure of its own with beautifully haunting instrumentation and vocal arrangements which are cleverly intertwined to offer a balanced kind of cosmic effect...

Itso's Earworms
Psychedelic indeed. :) I like the complex harmonies and the overall great production of this one.

Cincy Cat's Top 40
The most innovative of the MonaLisa Twins songs to date, Nothing Is In Vain begins and ends with surprises. The song features a dreamy style throughout, showcasing Mona's best drumming. Best of all is a characteristically MLT optimistic message: there is pleasure after pain, nothing is in vain.

Indie Superstars Will Rock Your World
yes they got it. We're all gonna ride on their back to the light of day.

Sonic Delights
float downstream on the trippy guitars, a sonic tapestry, and heavenly harmonies...

Rays Plays 1
This is the first song that I have played on this site. I was expecting to skip a few songs until I found something that I liked but I struck it lucky on this first play. This is the type of song that you could only hear on this site. This is truly a classic song that sounds like a forgotten song from the late 60's. The vocals are fantastic and so retro and unique. The melody is beautiful and inspiring. This song would be perfect in some tv show. You have captured a sound here that fits into an era when music may have been at it's best. I don't know you and these words are based on this song only but I need to hear more of your work. The uplifting vibe of your song is what the world needs to hear.
