I was lil' sad and I was lil' clueless but not a bit of me was hopeless
The sun was so bright the light went thru me
I felt dead, I had never felt more alive

Where Am I? Is this a place or a state of mind?
Have I been here before, do they know me?
Am I lost or have I found...?

Didn't have money, no connection
All I had was me and the clothes I was wearing
Someone came and asked if I wanna follow
at first I wasn't sure but then why not..?

Sat and watched people go by
they all went in when it started raining
I put my hands up high and laughed

I was all alone but didn't feel lonely
this was my story didn't need anybody
The road layed ahead, no boundaries
as far as my blind eyes could see

I walked in with the one I followed
they all looked at me, it must've been the water
I sat down and got a pint
There was nothin' more I could've asked from life

Where Am I? Is this a place or a state of mind?
Have I been here before, do they know me?
Am I lost or have I found...?

I was all alone but didn't feel lonely
this was my story didn't need anybody
The road layed ahead, no boundaries
as far as my blind eyes could see

All alone but didn't feel lonely
this was my story didn't need anybody
The road layed ahead, no boundaries
as far as my blind eyes could see

My blind eyes see

Eve does it again!
TonyGirl's songs are always good but this one is very different, I loved it!

TonyGirl's Favorites
This is the favorite of my own songs. I wanted " No Doubt type of bass lines " and the one's I got are soooo good I could listen to this song solely for them. I'm pleased with how the vision came true with the reggae parts, with the vocals and how they are mixed to vanish in the air like a smoke. I love the acoustic piano. I'm imagining a saloon where some grey old dude is playing old piano and the character in the song goes there soaked after laughing in the rain. These are the best lyrics I've written so far. I hope you like the song!

Heavy Rotation
Atmospheric vocals, great bassline and chord progression. Acoustic piano contributes to the mood. An extra special idea was the whistling melody in one section which evoked Ennio Morricone.
