From the CD album 'Those Were The Days' - Neil w Young & The Hot Rod Stars. Written by Robbie Robertson, Ronnie Hawkins, Jacqueline Magill. Recorded and released in 1959 by Ronnie Hawkins & The Hawks. My version recorded in 2015 with The Hot Rod Stars featuring Mary Jo Bailey Lyell's haunting backing vocals.

Cup'A Coffee (Expresso)
a great vibe to this, w the unearthly female backing, giving a primitive quality, grand lead guitar, and spirited vocal, very cool production all'n all, makes for a f-u-n musical experience, w a touch the 50s but a new millenium patina also, stellar arrangement on a obscure cover (never heard it before m'self anyway)...

JUKEBOX PICKS and CLICKS
In the Summer 2017 issue of Blue Suede News, editor and publisher Marc Bristol said in his review of the CD album, 'Those Were The Days' by Neil w Young & The Hot Rod Stars that "Hey Boba Lou" - one of the tracks on the licensed cover song album - was a rockin' tune. Written by Robbie Robertson, Ronnie Hawkins and Jacqueline Magill, the song was on the 1959 LP album, "Mr. Dynamo" Ronnie Hawkins and the Hawks.

Light My Fire
gotta love the "hey boba lou, female backing vocal lends an eerie aura, sign her up, rocking' band w a lead guitar that scorches the earth lol, tasteful backin' vocals, production bells and whistles, stellar vocal rings true, and we imagine the poor yearning minstrel learned a thing or two from boba lou...

Mystery Radio
Immediately engaging . Haunting intro and edgy vox and driving beat .rockin
