I'm glad I don't live in the U S of A
It used to be great now it's barely OK
Religion in politics, racism rife
The wealth gap, the bull crap, in fear for your life
Too many guns, too much junk on the plates
I'm glad I don't live in the United States
Hard to stay healthy when money is tight
If you want equality you'll have to fight
The immigrant complex, low self esteem
What's left of the hallowed American dream
The devious nature of folks you should trust
Self seeking egos and sentiment thrust
down your throat like a big slice of homily pie
that place ain't the apple of anyone's eye
The tension is growing while all the World waits
I'm glad I don't live in the United States
The West coast, the East coast, the gap is so wide
Then so many States in the growing divide
No reason to worry about climate change
Just live in denial, home sweet home on the range
Then there is Donald, oh what happened there ?
His politics wild, uncontrolled like his hair
but somehow he says he's America's choice
now no-one's allowed a dissenting voice
He's just on a jolly and taking the piss
It's safer to give that big fat ass a kiss
Don't mean to offend all you genuine guys
but there's nothing I'm wanting that your dollar buys x
