She looked upon the sky
with her eyes sewn shut by her own hands.
She's dreaming of the day
when she'll wake alone, adrift at sea.
Drowning.
Sifting through remains of the life she claimed to live
nothing will be found but lies.
A message sent, but not recieved, composed of hollow words
explaining just where she went wrong.
But if she had another chance would she change her ways
or would she make the same mistake again?
She's drowning
in her lies.
She's dying
without Him in her life.
But I watch her run.

serenades a warning
speaking of the horror
that they have forseen.

and she can't see the signs.
Deaf to all the answers
blind to what's inside.
