Blues Music is Truth (Muriel provides some haunting and mind altering singing) This actually is a really great piece of work. It has a sweet groove going on and perhaps it is those haunting vocals that is happening that piques my attention to the songs unique quality. Muriel's vocals are unusual ( in a good way)and at times I detect a pleading spirit asking for special help in a prayerful hopeful way, muriel captured that aspect very well and it pours out superbly. Yes it has lots of soulful bluesin' vocals and some down to earth heart felt expressive interpretation of Steve Aprils lyrical content. Very well written and put together, cool progressions indeed. Muriel kicks it out nicely and you can feel the loving in ."Love needs Water"..Nice hook line there Steve and also very fine production of the song. I will add that there is superb musicianship by all with some finely woven instrumentation throughout and also to top it all off is the stellar Lead Guitar performance by Ed Wells, fine chops my man....nice to have Muriel show up and give it here at my new station..........BLUES MUSIC IS TRUTH.....bryon t.
