LEGENDARY MUSIC
Finally I have made it here to your page Denise. It is pushing 2:00 a.m. (my time that is) - my usual time for giving artists my complete and undivided attention. As I was reading your "About you", I started listening to "Over The Rainbow" - one of my all-time favorite classics. I had to stop reading and just listen. I kept telling myself that I was not sitting in the orchestra seats at an Andrew Lloyd Weber and Tim Rice musical in a Broadway Theater, or even in a quiet little corner in some chic and elegant piano and lounge bar somewhere in Manhattan, although it was hard to believe that I wasn't given the sublime and enthralling music flowing from Peter's talented fingertips on the piano and the absolutely beautiful and spellbinding passion and warmth coming from that gloriously gifted voice of yours Denise - a voice so perfectly gentle, peaceful and hopeful here that I was sure I had been lifted onto that rainbow and taken to a place far, far away where troubles are few and far between, and where dreams do come true. With the greatest respect and admiration of Judy Garland, you have taken this timeless classic to new heights. The neon lights cast a blue-pinkish glow on the snow-covered street and sidewalk outside the window in my mind. I knew it was coming, but still I was hoping closing time would be cancelled for tonight and that you and Peter would keep singing and playing. I wanted to spend the night here with you - well, with you both I mean. I heard the bartender lock the door behind me as I stepped out onto the street. I walked for several blocks under the soft glow of street lights. I stopped and hailed down a taxi. "Where to buddy?" the cabbie asked. "Somewhere over the rainbow," I answered. "Somewhere over the rainbow."

We Sang In The Summer
