It's a jungle out there.

Once upon a time, the gift of Song fell to Earth to help guide and save the human beings stranded here. This perfect medium of transcendental, universal communication was so effective that it was bound to eventually become co-opted by greedy people looking to sell soft drinks and lifestyles. However, greed cannot stop ART - no matter how many steps it takes to corner the market. People are sick of puppets and pop tarts. Pro-Tools and AutoTune have created a new generation of bland, soundalike amateurs that tend to fade from obscurity even within the year their records are released. Music fans deserve better.

Fortunately, the internet is here for the talent that would otherwise toil in obscurity; a mighty digital hammer with which to shatter the glass ceiling of corporate rock and send a very clear message to the commercial marketplace - there is room for ALL of us, not just the pretty ones or the ones who can buy their way to the top.

THESE ARTISTS ARE: Random. Epic. Brilliant. But you wouldn't know that if you were listening to corporate radio.

HOORAY FOR THE INTERNET!
