Mike Harwood
Feel real bad
I like Mike, a true professional from a quiet English County where you'd more likely hear sea shanties :)

David Turner
Not Like Him
David is London based and has a great sound for his genre. This one is so catchy. If he writes and produces more songs like that he has a great future in the business. Taking the cue from his title I'd say he's 'not like' your average Hip Hop or even Reggae artist. I like his earthy vocals and his projection. Good to hear a British accent too.

be happy
Could you possibly be more British than this cute 'singalong' style outfit. Songs to lighten dark days and leave you smiling. The chorus is short and sweet and would be worth repeating

T-Shirt
Here's a British band who sound pretty universal and make the sort of sound that many people enjoy listening to and can easily join in the chorus.

Francesca Tamellini
Silent Dance
We're claiming Francesca for our Great British Song Book Station but her beautiful voice sounds anything but British. However the passion and depth of the songs she writes and produces is universal, exotic and sultry. We think it must almost be painful for her to perform songs with so much intimacy.

London Town
Cheeky chappies sing about anti social behavior. The lyrics are clever and funny (maybe read them) the accent is authentic, the music has a good build

Ice to the Fire
With a patriotic name like London this talented lady becomes the first add to the new Great British Songbook Station. A little bit of a Madonna sound and a song that reminds us of 1980s Pop. The GBs

The British Collective
Flow
This band is a gift for our new Station, so proud to be British they used it in their name. We chose this song but there are many more. With layers and layers of Soulful ambiance, this is an outfit that have professionalism mastered. We can hear so many influences in this free flowing song and we hope it's a compliment to liken it to a George Michael composition. It has passion, sex, coolness and sparkle even though the actual route chords are simple it is flowered up to new heights with the overlapping vocals.
