Here Comes Christmas

There's only three more shopping days til Christmas
The clock is ticking and the pressure's on
Tis the season to do big business
Tis the season for the holiday con
It's just that every year gets more commercial
Like that Sponge Bob Square pants nativity scene
It used to come out after Thanksgiving
Now they put it out before Halloween
But all in all it's my favorite holiday
The Christmas spirit hasn't flown away
Meanwhile all God's creatures great and small
Are standing in line down at the Town square mall
I'm robbing Peter and I'm robbing Paul
We're all getting robbed down at the Town square Mall
Even Still..
Let's see now, something for the wife, something for the kids something for the boss, now who'd I miss
Time ticks down on the shopping clock
Car drives round and round the parking lot
Wheeling and dealing and spiritual healing
in this cheap Chinese plastic Wal-Mart town
And just when I get that yuletide feeling
My Christmas tree starts falling down
Waking up on Christmas morn
My nerves are shattered and I'm feeling torn
Between that tickle me Elmo and it's stupid squeal
And the smile on my kid and the love I feel
Through it all..
