Annette Groves was born to a musical family in a small town called Port Huron, Michigan. She grew up loving the sounds of acoustical guitars, specifically those found in Jazz and Latin music. She would often find herself singing inspirational songs with strong hints of Jamaican, Jazz, Middle-Eastern, and Latin ryhmns.
Her love for music began to grow which later lead her to Perfecting Church located in Detroit, pastored by the great Marvin L. Winans. It was there that she met a talented young producer and musician named Antun Foster. It was Antun which gave her the opportunity to be apart of a newly founded choir called “Chemistry”.
As a member of Chemistry, the choir went on to sing behind such great artists as Karen Clark-Sheard and Kim Burrell, as well as shared concernt stages with such artists as Fred Hammond, Trinity -5-7, and many others. It was these experiences which motivated her to develop her own love for producing music and singing.
Annette Groves is sure to touch the world with her music through the inspiration of Jesus Christ.
