My Mantra have just been
confirmed to perform at the TMF
Rock Festival in Essex on
Saturday 6th August, chosen from
760 bands.
The TMF Rock Festival is a huge
showcase of 'the bands truly
making noise in the UK' and a
booking at TMF signals the band
as being at the forefront of their
scene.
Past bands that have played at
TMF include Biffy Clyro, The
Eighties Matchbox B-Line
Disaster, Hell is for Heroes,
Reuben, Million Dead & InMe. The
organisers can't yet reveal this
year’s headliners, but apparently
it’s going to be amazing! We'll let
you know more when we know
more!

What People Are Saying
About 'Seven'!
We have received nothing short of
great and overwhelming responses
to our debut mini-album, 'Seven'!
* Very Cool Stuff! - Dom Lawson -
Kerrang!
* The ideas and melodies are cool,
with such a strong package
(amazing production, and tight
musicianship) - Owen Packard

* Recent BBC-featured rockers My
Mantra (19th) piss all over my 'we
bought Jeff Buckley's album,
Grace, and now we're cool' bonfire
by, er... actually being cool for
real.' - Paula W - The Fly
* My Mantra take everything that
is brilliant about Metallica, Pearl
Jam, Portishead & Nirvana and
mix with their own delicious
helpings of feral riffs to produce a
sound so potent it will have you
quivering in excitement. - Noel
Davies Ent's Editor, The Southern
Echo
* Vibrancy The New Mantra - My
Mantra's songs are heavy but they
don't shy away from emotion and
so appeal to the mainstream as
well as veteran rockers - Claire

say that My Mantra are by far my
favourite 'In Session' band to date
Ben Shovelley, 107.8 The Saint

they're chucking out big riffs with
aggressive vocals, but most
definatley brilliant throughout all of
these seven songs - Saur The
Mag, www.the-mag.me.uk
* Energy, groove and phat riffs are
the key to their success. Every
song on this 7 track debut mini
