In 2003 Audley decided to attend as many auditions as possible. The first, being BBCs Fame Academy. To his surprise, he was selected out of 30,000 hopefuls and entered into the Fame Academy mansion as one of the final thirteen. After leaving the show, there were contractual restraints – but these only fuelled his ambition to take his new career to a professional level

Whilst formulating his 'product', it was important for Audley to keep working, performing and gaining experience on the live circuit. The first person in the music industry to recognise his charismatic style was Geoff Schumann (BBC Radio London). Geoff eager to help, pulled strings to get Audley supporting American RnB/Film star Tyrese at Brixton Academy (capacity 3000). This started a chain reaction for Audley who has since supported Omar, Marques Houston, JA Rule and Boys II Men.

Since then, the live circuit has really taken off for Audley, nowadays he finds himself catapulted around the UK, performing to diverse audiences, at Holiday Parks, Casinos, Jumping Jacks, to playing to a 25,000 capacity Knebworth Park to name a few. The Motown style seems to strike a chord with the audiences. His 'Soul Train' concept has audiences participating up, down and across the country! The vibrant combination of his super-smooth vocals and dynamic performance has resulted in Audley rapidly becoming one of the UKs favourite live soul artists.

Behind the scenes, Audley has been busy writing original material. His first single Undress U has come together, it has given him the opportunity to let his audience hear for themselves, the direction his music is now heading.

Audley Anderson is determined to make an interesting addition to the soul music archive. His aim is to create thought provoking songs, together with a vulnerable and sentimental delivery that have a timeless quality.
