Singer/songwriter originally from County Down Northern Ireland, but now based in South East London. His voice is best described as a curious mix of Kings of Leon and Jack Johnson and his songwriting ranges from simple acoustic tracks to epic modern pop music. Bear cites his main influences as Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Nick Drake, Jeff Buckley, Pearl Jam, Nirvana and The Rolling Stones.

Bear’s song ‘Insomniac’ has been included on 2 international unsigned artists compilations 'Unsung Heroes'(Chromium Records) and 'Close Encounters of the Indie Kind'(Matchbox Recordings) as featured in NME.
'Insomniac' also received 'Honourable Mentions' from all judges in the finals of VH1's 'Song of the Year' competition. 'Sharks' reached the semi-finals of the UK Songwriting contest 2008.
Bear's music has been played on various Internet radio stations, BBC Radio Ulster and regional commercial radio in Northern Ireland.
