A group of working guys started a small acoustic session at a restaurant for the kick of it. The response was great and so were the free drinks so they decided to do this again until it build-out into a full 6 member rock group. The band’s song “the One” became one of the top 5 final songs for the Song of the year competition (VH-1 save the music). This and other great songs gives blend its unique and recognized rock sound. Songs like “ordinary days”, written to describe the repetitive activities of our daily lives we live. “Because of you” a pop rock sound about a close relationship between two people… Blend is from St.Maarten yes the little Caribbean island (Dutch West Indies), we have our own web site (newly launched) see www.blend-music.com We noticed there are many blend bands out there we all greet them but there is only one “BL&ND” Hey we will get there, just need some time to refine some more stuff on MP3’s for you to enjoy. We like the up-tempo beats and now have great set of musicians on board.
