After years leading the national act called Portable …(2 nationally released albums, Woodstock ’99 etc)

2004: Chance goes solo.
www.mynameischance.com. Begins building burgeoning fan base and grass roots spreading of the good word.
Releases MP3 singles about once a month. Served up as mini-events, each single contains, lyrics, online art, samples, alternate version (sometimes), genesis (how the song came to be) and geek out (you’ll understand it when you see it.)
After 5 singles are released…

October 2, 2004: Chance releases 1st CD called “The 1st 5 Demos”. EP is written, performed, recorded and produced by Chance (but also includes his take on Radiohead’s Creep.) All songs are also individually available as downloadable mp3 format.
The lead-off track, Say What You Will, goes to #2 at GarageBand.com (out of 900 songs) and is being spun on over 200 Podcasts and Internet Radio stations.

January 29th 2005: Chance performs first show with backing band as Chance & the Choir.

April 12th, 2005: Chance releases 2nd 5 singles as a CD called “Chance: Six through Ten”. All 5 singles are available as individual mp3 downloads. The 2nd track, Taste of the Good Life, peaks at #8 on Garageband.com.

April 12th, 2005: Debut of MyNameisChance Comix, an online comic strip. Stories by Chance and illustrations by the talented artist, Zero.

July 20, 2005: (Grass roots activity courtesy of the Internet)
Say What You Will goes to #1 on the radio chart in the country of Qatar and stays there for 3 weeks. Qatar only has one radio station.

August 8, 2005; September 27, 2005: Singles 11 & 12 released.

October 9, 2005: A history making event: “The World’s first Simulpodcast”
Over 40 Podcasts and Internet Radio stations simulcast the most recent performance of Chance & the Choir (previously recorded live). Stations based in USA, Canada, Australia, UK, Scotland, the Netherlands, & the Philippines take part. Concert can be downloaded (Podcast) or streamed (Internet Radio).

November 2005:
Man on a Mission goes to #2 on the radio chart in the country of Qatar.

November 08, 2005: Single 13 released.

January 03, 2006: Single 14 released.
