Born into a musical family in a small town just north of Boston, MA, Claire began her musical studies at the age of nine with the violin. Soon she would be playing guitar beside her father and have her first appearance in published music by age fourteen. As a freshman in High School, Claire began her love for songwriting and the piano. Influenced by such artists as Clairo, Alix Page and Gracie Abrams, Claire would go on to write a number of songs during her time in school including her debut single, ""Star Signs"".
