As a one man 'band' I write and record the insruments in a walk-in closet of my apartment with one microphone a guitarist friend gave me in 1996. If that's not a run-on sentence, I don't know what is. I don't have a drum set, computer, or keyboard, so I use an 8 track with shakers, typewriters, sanding blocks, and a djembe for percussion. Needless to say, there's lots of track bouncing involved.
