Jose A Reyes better known as J Rey , singer/rapper living Ottawa, Ontario, Coming from El Salvador, J Rey displaying his love for his country in the style of his music. Beginning to write songs at the age of 13, J Rey has shown an strong interest in music in his lyrics, songs and beats. By working and working J Rey was able to record his first song at the age of 14 called ""Ponte Coqueta"". As time went by J Rey has been able to work with many local artist such as Beezy y El Flako which later became a group called ""Barrio Star Records"". By The age of 16 J Rey and Barrio Star have recorded over 50 songs, some which have been played over El Cachondeo Radio, and have been featured on Mixtapes Like ""El Capital Del Perreo"" by Dj Mendez. In February 2008 Barrio Star Records had their first performance at Rumba Night Club at the event ""Reggaeton Xplosion"" where they met artist like Onda Cool, Claudio Niko and Geisha. Later On the group Barrio Star Records joined with Onda Cool to become Onda Cool ""La Company"", which they later went to make the first Demo called ""Apokliptiko"", now J Rey an idependant artist is moving on to persue other goals, is workin on his Demo ( Name To Be Announced ) which should be out this December....Keep And Eye Out For It!!
