I'm an independent artist with a small home studio. I've been writing poetry, songs and creating music forever, a.k.a. Back in the day. I guess my success in the music business is overshadowed by three things, ability, potential, and my lack of natural talent. Which helps me preserve my deserved amateur status. I've been around music most of my life. I played guitar in a couple of local bands which I have composed music for. I some times dream in music, complete with lyrics. I have re-created some of those Musical Dreams but I have not perfected them. Once again, that's the beauty of my amateur status, my imperfection keep me focused on developing the skills to make the music the best it can be. Today's technology, gives me the ability to be able to compose, produce, engineer, write lyrics and promote. All under one cap. Very few people in the music business on a professional level have the ability to do all these things well. But trying only makes you better. The truth is I'm to young to stop dreaming but I'm to old to be naïve. I will keep trying and hopefully get better and keep my amateur status polished. Interesting and encouraging to others that share the same dream.
