Julian Edgar is fronted by songwriter/guitarist James Wilkinson. He has been playing these songs in various incarnations and locations for a several years. James has lived in cities all over the US such as New York, Chicago, Miami, Portland, Anchorage, also Germany, various places abroad, etc and has bands or performed music in almost all of them, but got very involved in the OMaha, Nebraska scene at its height, and has played with artists Ambulance and Simon Joyner and the like.

Currently, Caitlin plays bass and Dan Thompson may soon be added on the drums. Josh Morris of Etiera is assisting to master some new tracks!

Influences: Nick Cave, Love and Rockets, U2. But also Joy Division, Simon Joyner, Ambulance, Pulp, Gallon Drunk, Wolfgang Press, friend Ted Stephens from Mayday, former drummer Steve Micek...

Sound: Rich vocals with varying music full band to acoustic to solo eletric. Manchester kind of sound, with Saddle Creek influence, but also The Pogues and Love and Rockets, Crime, The City Solution, somewhat Scotch-Irish, somewhat gothic, and very much Nick Cave...
