Kris Kitko
Bio
Kris Kitko delights audiences with a “disarming sense of humor” and “musical superpowers” (Chicago Tribune). Her quirky brand of humor and unique guitar playing style have Guitar Noise predicting that “Kitko is a name that will go far.”
Kris Kitko calls her show the “Bipolar Express”—she weaves hilarious tunes (about the wonders of menstruation or the joys of napping) with more introspective songs, such as “Feel,” which takes a melancholy tour of the folks living on your block, from the homecoming queen to the retired truck driver.
Kitko has shared the stage with Ferron, Angie Stevens, Scott Free, and Chuck Suchy. She performs nationally for events ranging from coffee house concerts to fundraisers or corporate events. Kris Kitko has been featured on radio programs such as Windy City Radio, Laney Goodman's ""Women in Music,"" Prairie Public Radio, Minnesota Public Radio, and on podcasts around the globe.
