Monument is a metal band from Oklahoma City. Blending intense metal, haunting doom, progressive hooks and catchy grooves, Monument can entertain all extremists and fans of heavy music. The band has opened for national touring acts and plays all over mid-western United States. Monument has released three independent albums. The E.P. "Dust" which was released in August 1995, "Resting Place" which was released in January 1999 and "The Millennial Death of God" which was released in November 2000.
