Prepare to be introduced to Pistoz aka Pakipsi.
Not to be compare or confused with any of the many other young rappers to emerge from New York during the mid '90s,
Pistoz' unique mic presence was sure to place him into a category of his own. Born and raised in a small city of Niagara Falls, Pistoz started writing rhymes
at the age of 14. Quickly receiving positive feedback on his unique word play, many viewed Pistoz as destine to pick up the microphone.
It wasn't too much longer before he team up with his long time friend, Rocky (H.K.), and Von (SaVon Dutch) and kicked off his rap career. The rap trio called ""F.B.I.""
stormed on the scene performing around Niagara Falls at talent shows, music festivals and live concerts. Pistoz wrote and recorded more than a dozen underground songs
as a member of FBI before parting ways. Although the group is not together today, the three members still remain good friends.
Pistoz then fell off the radar for several years not resurfacing until 2002 with his single ""Imma do me"". Enjoying early success of the single and peeking the interest
of a few A&R's commercial success still eluded him. It was at this point where Pistoz decided to move to Canada and jump in the middle of the exploding hip-hop scene north-side of the border.
Taking up residence in the heart of the Niagara region, it wasn't long before Pistoz was both on the stage and the tip of every hip hop head’s tongue in the region.
Always a presence in the mixtape world, Pistoz worked on collaborations with both Scorsese and Apokalypz 2005, also recording tracks for their albums. Once again in search of his dream,
Pistoz caught the ear of a producer named Proph who decided that it was time for Pistoz' unique style to be heard. In 2004, Pistoz gave birth to the 'Dealin Wit Greatness' mixtape saga.
Quickly taking well deserved recognition for his hard work and consistancy things started to look up for the unsigned hype.
In early 2007 he released his well anticipated follow up to his mixtape joint 'Dealin Wit Greatness' with Vol II. Lately you can find Pistoz in the lab working on his debut Album Project Exzile
which will definitely solidify him as a serious emcee. The release date is yet to be established but diehard fans need worry not. Pistoz announced that he was releasing
a Vol.III and IV with much of the material not making the album cut.
