Paul was born and raised in his native country Australia. Traditionally trained multi-instrumentalist, with an uncompromising sound and style.

Paul has spent most of the past decade living abroad pursing music, as a live performer, session musician, film and music producer. He has always been the songwriter/guitarist, writing and performing for numerous bands, musicians and feature films.

Paul is currently working on new material for his long awaited debut solo album.

Due to the inundation of requests Paul is planning a 2006 pre-release limited sample of his forthcoming album. This limited release will only be available online and at live performances. Check here for updates.

The end of 2005 saw the completion of the ‘Genika’ album a Seclusion Records release. Genika a Vancouver based band sought out Paul to play bass, guitar and co-write on its debut album – The Purity.

Paul currently resides in North America pursing his solo career as a singer/songwriter, supporting his recent recording – ‘Paul Hampton – Limited Edition’.
