Radio Pirate DJ found inspiration listening to bands such as Mötley Crüe, Smashing Pumpkins and Journey. Having all been in musical projects before RPDJ, the members knew the sound they wanted to mold and passionately moved forward, looking to expand their market with honorable representation. The five members of Radio Pirate DJ; (Guitarist/Vocalist) Josh Augustine, (Guitarist/Vocalist) Josh LaFave, (Keyboardist) Bryan Aldrich, (Bassist) Mike Reed and (Drummer) Griff Powe all discovered music on their own in different ways. But as soon as they got together, something just clicked.

The confident, upbeat music found on their debut full length album "This Is Life, This Is Living." exudes a rare natural chemistry that is easily addictive and makes them impossible to ignore.

This young act's amazing musicianship, mature songwriting ability, and professionalism are quite impressive. It's even fair to say that as more people discover Radio Pirate DJ they will agree that the band's skills easily rival those of the music scene's past and present favorites.

Radio Pirate DJ's eyes are bigger than their stomach's. But wanting more than what they have or can seem to get, has and never will stop them from looking forward with confidence and high expectations.
