Hello! I have been writing and producing my own music since 2009. My music is largely electronic, but I incorporate bass and guitar whenever possible. My genre varies wildly - I usually pin myself down as "Alternative" or "Art Rock", but synthpop, hard rock, piano ballads, and experimental music can all be found in my catalogue. I simply write music because it's fun.
Yield YIELD Featured on Pause for Effect - 2012 Yield was written in a fit of frustration towards corporate power and red tape - the idea that someone or something can be too big to care about you or acknowledge your concerns. Those in power can treat the people beneath them terribly, but that is just the way things work, so people put up with it. Attempts to voice concerns or do something fall on deaf ears or get lost in paperwork and apathy.
Crystal Habit CRYSTAL HABIT Featured on Sort Of (Not Really) - 2013 As I learned in Geology class, a "crystal habit" refers to the way a crystal grows. As such, my "crystal habit" is the way I grow, which in this song refers to making mistakes, feeling guilty about them, and trying to learn from them. My introverted nature and social anxieties often led to me saying things I didn't mean or getting terse with my friends. Afterward I would think, "Why did I say that? Why didn't I think about what I was say

Writer's Block Re-recording of a silly song I wrote a long time ago. :P
Where Has the Time Gone I originally tried to write a song called "Where Has the Time Gone?" back in 2010. I came up with a simple acoustic guitar riff and verse melody, but when it came time to write a chorus I was stumped. I ended up writing a dumb chorus I hated and I gave up on the song entirely. For some reason, though, that guitar riff and first verse stayed stuck in my head for years afterward, and I finally got around to re-writing and finishing the song last week. I guess you could say this song is 7 years in
Cherries for Cosmo "Cherries for Cosmo" is a conversation between two people, one of whom lost their significant other in a tragedy many years ago. Due to some mysterious magical event, however, his wife was recently brought back to life. As the song plays out, someone talks with him as he reflects on what has happened and tries to contain his shock and excitement. He's trying to carry on doing normal things - picking cherries in the garden - but he eventually breaks down and runs back inside to be with the love o
Aggressor "Aggressor" was my attempt to create the rawest, most chaotic burst of energy that I could. I wasn't even particularly angry or emotional at the time - I was just so tired of obsessing over production that I wanted to write something as rough and hard-hitting as I could. I deliberately held myself back from putting much time into mixing and production on this one, so what you're hearing is essentially the raw recordings with a little reverb slapped on em. Gnarly!
Crystal Habit (Dulcimer ver.) A reimagining of a song I wrote back in 2013! This new version of "Crystal Habit" is performed with an ensemble of dulcimer, acoustic bass, and drums.
Swan Swan H (R.E.M. cover) Cover of R.E.M.'s "Swan Swan H" off their 1986 release "Lifes Rich Pageant". Played on an M4 dulcimer guitar and a Dean EAB acoustic-electric bass!
