Sleep All Summer was founded when singer, and songwriter Harry ""Mac Static"" Foster was living on Bonita Beach, FL. The idea of a skier living on the beach in the middle of the summer had him thinking about the winter months in New England.

After a few months of writing new songs and making a demo tape, Harry then packed up and moved back to Vermont. The debut album, ""Hibernator"" was recorded and mixed throughout the spring of 2015.

Harry and longtime friend and former bandmate, Alex ""Clutch Dales"" DeRoehn eventually decided to combine their songwriting and musicality to continue, Sleep All Summer.
