Dedication. Intensity. Professionalism. These words describe the music and mentality of San Antonio’s best-kept secret: Tension Speak.

The five members of Tension Speak come from a varied and expansive musical background with many years of performing experience among them.

After forming in early 2003, Tension Speak has quickly earned a reputation as a band that makes music on its own terms. The band has a growing following and is a favorite in the local San Antonio music scene as well as south Texas. Tension Speak has been featured on the popular San Antonio local music radio show Texas Traxx (99.5 KISS) and in a Hispanic-themed newspaper named Conexion Magazine. Additionally, the band has placed 1st in two Battle of the Bands contests that they have competed in. In January of 2005, Tension Speak was invited to play at the world famous Roxy Theater in Los Angeles, CA. The band took advantage of the chance to play at the famous club by successfully touring throughout southern California. In April of the same year, Tension Speak was honored to open for Sevendust and Bobaflex at Sunset Station in San Antonio, TX.

The band is currently hard at work on its debut full length CD that will feature the versatile and unique musicianship that fans have compared to Disturbed, Sevendust, Mudvayne, and Godsmack.

With a combination of melodic vocal patterns and modern hard rock guitar riffs, Tension Speak brings an intense sound and dynamic performance that is new to the San Antonio rock scene. Their dedication, intensity, and professionalism define what Texas music is all about.
