Biography
Amongst the star studded line-up on the soundtrack to the game Project 8, Voltera’s “Do what your Daddy say” is the only Australian release besides Wolfmother.
Since the games release in November, hits on Voltera’s website have dramatically increased, while daily MySpace plays and downloads are greater than many signed high profile Australian artists.
With a successful stint on the grueling 2006 Vans Warped Tour in the United States, and supporting international acts such as KMFDM, Genitorturers and Covenant, Voltera’s continued tireless efforts to secure obtuse, high profile shows continues unabated, with more grand opportunities in 2007.
Voltera hail from Melbourne with local and international members which unify hard rock traditions with synthetic industrial concepts to create their own subspecies they coin as Post-Industrial Rock. The result of a reactive and dark mindset.
This new strain of female fronted aggression has continued to outperform and outshine the bands it has supported in the past, making them a favorite for an ever growling number of music lovers and venues alike.
