Based on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Chris Koelma is an experienced and professional bass guitarist and tutor. Currently studying a Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Teaching (major in music) at university, Chris has a keen passion for the language of music and its potential to transform individuals. He has performed with a variety of artists such as Marty Simpson, Dale Willis (Sydney) and Shane Fritsch (Sydney) as well as a number of local artists. Chris has also just completed his first solo album featuring his compositions for solo bass as well as jazz/funk/fusion pieces with his band. As a solo artist Chris has supported Diesel and been featured at festivals and local events. Chris has also been involved in a number of recording sessions with artists such as Kelvin Brown (Adelaide), Shane Fritsch (Sydney), Amanda Stevens (Sydney) and Nick and Liesl (Central Coast).
