Palestinian-Israeli Street Fusion Band
WhiteFlag was formed in 1998. originally a band of 6 musicians, 3 Palestinians from Gaza, 3 Israelis from Tel Aviv, WhiteFlag is about good music and the musicians right to meet and play...something that was and still is very hard for the band to do, 'cause of politics.
So we meet when we can, always in a neutral country and Gig when we can.

GESHEM-rain A love song..but the subtext is interesting as Gani, the female vocalist is Israeli, and she sings about...'meeting after the rain has cleared the roads/path from dust...' and the male voice that is 'calling' back is Yassin, from Gaza

WhiteFlag	9/2/2008 9:35:23 AM We had an amazing time in Kazan-Russia at the Creation of Peace festival-crowd of 150,000 and on stage with Tony Levin, Keith Emerson, Adrian Belew, and many other wonderful musicians from all over the world.Google Kazan etc and check it out. We are releasing our CD in Oct,and wil update on future events
